August 14, 2023—

It’s time to nominate the outstanding volunteers you know for Hartland Living’s Volunteer of the Year 2023! This year will mark the 9th annual recognition of an outstanding volunteer in Hartland.

Nominations are being accepted through September 6th here: bit.ly/VOYnominations2023. The Hartland Living Volunteer of the Year committee will then select the top nominees to be made available for an online public vote that will take place between September 8th and the 22nd. The winner is decided by equal votes from Hartland’s Partners in Progress (Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce; Hartland Consolidated Schools; Cromaine District Library; Hartland Township), and from the public voting ONLINE.

Stefanie Furge, from the Hartland Living VOY selection committee, is looking forward to once again learning about volunteers that give their time saying, “We have been able to thank and honor so many volunteers over the years and that wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the community. If you know of someone making a difference in our community, nominate them today and let us recognize their hard work!”

The winner will be honored at the State of the Community Address on October 25. They will also be honored in the Hartland Area Community Council’s Memorial Day Parade and Booklet.

The Hartland Living Volunteer of the Year is an initiative of Hartland’s Partners in Progress, a joint venture between Hartland Consolidated Schools, Cromaine District Library, Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce and Hartland Township.
