August 2, 2022 —
Cromaine District Library’s millage renewal on the August 2, 2022 ballot passed with 63% of voters saying yes. The millage is a renewal of the current 1.4313 mills to continue library operations for the next 10 years. The millage funds 98% of the library’s daily operations, including WiFi, Librarians and support staff, library programs, events, all projects and activities, and the building itself. Through social media posts and an email to patrons, Cromaine thanked the community with the following message:

Thank you for supporting Cromaine District Library by renewing our millage on Tuesday, August 2! The millage passed with 63% of the vote. We appreciate your support more than words can fully say.
We promise to continue to work hard for the Hartland community, supporting patrons of every age and ability with the resources and programs they need to learn, discover and connect.
