June 15, 2022 —

Congratulations to recent Hartland High grad Bo Lockwood. He was named Michigan’s boys lacrosse Player of the Year for the second time. He’s the first repeat winner in the six seasons the award has been given by the Michigan High School Lacrosse Coaches Association. Lockwood’s numbers have been record breaking, and he finished second in state history in career scoring with 258 goals and 307 assists for 565 points. He will continue his lacrosse career next year at the University of Michigan.

Also recognized by MHSLCA this year is Hartland coach Nick Levanti. He was named the 2022 MHSLCA D1 Coach of the Year. Levanti led the Hartland Boys Varsity Lacrosse team to a D1 Championship—making Hartland the first public school to win it in the 17 year history of the tournament.
