November 18, 2020 –
Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases in our area, Cromaine District Library is stepping back to curbside-only service, effective Wednesday, November 18. Curbside service is available for people to pick up checked out materials from their own car. Many of the programs normally offered will continue to be virtual and a complete calendar of events is available on the library website, including many Take-Home Kits for all ages!
To use the curbside service, the patron should place holds using WWW.CROMAINE.ORG and the “Login” feature in the upper right hand corner or contact the library at 810-632-5200 with materials they wish to reserve. Full instructions on Curbside Service are also available on the library’s website. Hours are Monday through Thursday 9 am – 8 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm, and Sunday 12 pm – 5 pm. When Cromaine is closed, the materials return, wireless in the parking lot and virtual library services on Cromaine’s website are all available.
“I know this is disappointing, but I feel that it’s important to do everything we can to prevent the spread of this disease in our community. I’m glad that technology gives us the ability to continue providing materials and programs during this time,” Mallorie DeVilbiss, Cromaine Director, said.
