Paul Scheidler Named HCS Teacher of the Year

May 7, 2019 –

Congratulations to Mr. Paul Scheidler, Hartland High School Social Studies teacher on being named Teacher of the Year for Hartland Consolidated Schools. Paul is also the Grand Marshal for the 2019 Hartland Area Community Council Memorial Day Parade! In addition to his distinguished teaching career, Paul has served in the military. The Hartland community thanks him for his military service and his exemplary teaching, serving as a role model and mentor to many!

Cromaine Library to take over management of the Hartland Music Hall

May 13, 2019 –

The change in management of the Hartland Music Hall begins July 1, 2019. Increasingly, the Hartland Consolidated Schools must focus on their primary purpose–educating future generations and maintaining their facilities to support that purpose. As part of Hartland’s Cromaine District Library strategic plan, the Library has committed to strengthening the community’s expectation of its role as a cultural center. In this new partnership, on behalf of the Hartland Consolidated Schools Foundation (owner of the Hartland Music Hall), the Schools have offered the Library the opportunity to manage the Hartland Music Hall, one of this community’s most historic and valued cultural assets.

HACC to host FREE Google Digital Skills Training Workshop

The Business & Community Institute at Lansing Community College is pleased to partner with the Greater Brighton Area and Hartland Area Chambers of Commerce to offer Google training to its business members at NO Charge! Sign up for just 1 or both workshops! Space is limited, first come first serve basis.

Hartland SOUP coming to Settlers Park on July 11
